Situation:

3M requested enhancements and modifications be made to their existing SharePoint web portal. The main requirements involved improving the process of submitting spreadsheet data through the request management system.

The Headspring Solution:

Headspring developed a new form for the process and took advantage of SharePoint's built-in field validation. The form required users to select a type of request first and then, upon doing so, provide all form data specific to the type of request. Spreadsheet data was provided to 3M's application in independent files which were attached to requests.

Results:

3M found Headspring's refinements made data integration user-friendly and better automated.
