Bring your laptop and get it ready IN ADVANCE
Headspring Systems requires all attendees bring a laptop prepped with specific software necessary to follow the training curriculum. The exercises will be done through a virtual machine with all necessary software included. The laptop should be capable of running a virtual machine with Visual Studio 2010 and Windows 7. The minimum hardware requirements are a dual-core processor and at least 2 GB of RAM, and 12 GB of free hard drive space. The column at right links attendees to trial downloads of each critical piece. We understand you're eager, we are too! Windows XP, Vista, and 7 are suitable operating systems for this course.
If you have to install the items listed at the right during your first day of class, you will lose the opportunity to program (and thus learn in a hands-on fashion) during, at least, the first four hours of the day.
