Software Development Outsourcing

Why outsource?

Headspring offers custom application development for line-of-business applications, which is a mouthful for saying we build tools for managing records. This is what we are best at, and our clients find we are adept here while they would prefer to focus on what they are adept at themselves be it farming, pharmaceuticals, or fiber optics.

...but how to pick a vendor?

In the 21st century web application development has become omnipresent, and most parties in a position to outsource have a bad software experience in their past. Use the experience. Consider the pitfalls to avoid and ask potential vendors how they'll address them.

Why not offshore?

A focus on "tighter management" (red tape) in the name of avoiding the pitfalls of projects past is naïve. The real solutions are engineering solutions. Examples: extreme programming, test-driven development, domain-driven design

Why Headspring?

Seek a company offering a competitive approach, not just a competitive price.

Outsourcing does not mean offshoring

It doesn't have to. The expertise beyond your internal talent doesn't have to be less than what you hold in-house. There is a low road to take in outsourcing, but there is also another way.

We would like to show you what makes Headspring different and how you may produce software of value that more than returns its investment.
